The IAM Midwest Territory’s 2020 Cornhole Tournament raised more than $3.3K for Guide Dogs of America (GDA).
More than 50 people, including 25 teams, from across the Midwest Territory and Chicagoland area took part in the event.

“The Midwest Territory’s cornhole tournament is always a great kick-off to the Territory’s five annual events to raise money for Guide Dogs of America,” said IAM Midwest Territory General Vice President Steve Galloway.
“It’s a guaranteed good time for all, while at the same time giving to a great cause – providing the gift of sight to the visually-impaired and a trained companion to individuals faced with other challenges. Thank you to all the IAM Districts, Locals and Chicagoland residents who took part. And a very special thank you to our many sponsors.”

All proceeds from the tournament are donated to Guide Dogs of America, a non-profit supported by the generosity of individuals, foundations, corporations, and other organizations in its mission to provide guide dogs free of charge to blind and visually-impaired individuals in the U.S. and Canada. GDA, in partnership with another organization known as Tender Loving Canines, also now provides dogs to children with autism and veterans coping with post-traumatic stress.
