UCubed Unveils ‘Our Turn’ in Pennsylvania

Targeting unemployed Pennsylvanians, the Union of Unemployed this week began airing ‘Our Turn,’ a hard hitting 30-second ad that urges the jobless to vote on Election Day.

“With 629,000 unemployed and three times that number suffering through this Grave Recession, the Keystone State mirrors what is happening all across America,” said UCubed Acting Executive Director Rick Sloan. “Our Turn reflects the simmering rage of unemployed and underemployed everywhere.”
The ad features a screw turning ominously as pictures of unemployed workers flash across the screen. The message is unmistakable. “It’s our turn to turn the screws with our votes,” said Sloan. “Together we have the power to put America back to work.”
