Real people. Real trades. Real traditions.
For IAM members, the bonds built on the job often extend far beyond the workplace. That spirit is on full display in “The Cobia Crew,” the latest episode of the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance’s (USA) Solid Ground video series.
The episode follows cousins Brian and Jamey Cavey and Brian’s father, Bernie, as they trade the jobsite for the Chesapeake Bay in pursuit of one of the region’s most powerful game fish, cobia.
What began more than three decades ago as a shared passion between Brian and Jamey, who were young Insulator apprentices at the time, has grown into a lasting family tradition. Through years on the job and countless days on the water, the Cavey family has continued to share the friendships, skills and traditions that bring working families together.
“The Cobia Crew” is now streaming on YouTube.
