Urge Congress to Reauthorize TAA Program

Thanks to House Speaker John Boehner and his fellow House Republicans, thousands of workers who lost their jobs as a result of outsourcing and unfair trade deals will be denied training and unemployment benefits. GOP lawmakers refused to vote on the Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) reauthorization bill last week, allowing the much-needed benefits to expire.

TAA has helped to retrain, educate and find work for tens of thousands of workers impacted by our country’s unfair trade laws, like NAFTA, since 1962. It is imperative Congress take action to extend benefits for displaced workers.

Tell Congress to reauthorize the Trade Adjustment Assistance program.
