Nearly 40 IAM members from Local Lodges across Virginia gathered in Chincoteague Va for the recent State Council of Machinists conference. The State Council serves as the political action arm of the Machinist Union which works to help get pro-worker legislation moving in the state. The delegate members received vital and important worker legislation news from Hasan Solomon, the IAM National Political and Legislative Director.
Charles Mann, President of the State Council was very impressed with how the council has grown over the past few years with members coming from all over Virginia.
