Dear IAM Family,
This Memorial Day weekend, and always, we remember those heroes who courageously gave their lives in defense of all of us. It’s never lost on this union that our mission for dignity and justice on the job is possible because of those who fought–and gave their lives–for our freedoms.
The IAM has a strong connection to our military. Like myself, many IAM members are military veterans themselves.
Even more members work in the aerospace and defense industries, or work alongside our military at military bases from coast to coast. All support the men and women who defend our freedoms.
On behalf of 600,000 members across North America, we will always remember and be eternally grateful for the sacrifices made by our true heroes.
