Winpisinger Center Worker Recognized

At the Winpisinger Education & Technology Center, International President Tom Buffenbarger (r) and General Secretary-Treasurer Warren Mart (l) present Journeyman Ronnie Wible with a plaque of appreciation for what IP Buffenbarger said was “the outstanding quality and craftsmanship Brother Wible puts into every project he endeavors.”

Keeping the grounds and facilities at the IAM’s William W. Winpisinger Education & Technology Center in Hollywood, MD maintained, up-to-date and attractive is a non-stop job, and is totally attributed to the hard work and dedication of the Center’s staff and skilled craftspersons.

Recently, one of those craftsmen, Local 193 Journeyman Ronnie Wible, was recognized for his outstanding work at the Center, and also for the excellent job he did in making new furniture for the General Secretary-Treasurer’s (GST) office at IAM Headquarters.

“Whenever our members tour the Headquarters building and come to the reception area of the GST office,” commented GST Warren Mart, “they talk about the beautiful craftsmanship of the furniture and obvious attention-to-detail paid by the builder. And when tour groups learn it was all built by IAM members, they are doubly-pleased and proud.”
