The IAM
Executive Council
The nine members of the IAM's Executive Council ―
the International President, General Secretary-Treasurer and seven
General Vice Presidents ― direct IAM affairs between conventions.
The Executive Council is
elected every four years in a secret ballot, nationwide referendum. The IAM Constitution requires that officers have worked in the shop as
members in good-standing for at least five years.
