Andrea Myers hails from Detroit and is a dedicated member of IAM Local 141 and District 141. Her journey in changing lives began at Mississippi Valley State University, where she majored in early childhood development at Mississippi Valley State University.
Myers, a United Airlines reservation agent since 1999, has held various roles within the union, including serving as a steward, committee person, Local Secretary-Treasurer, District 141 Auditor, District Vice President at Large, and District 141 Assistant General Chairperson.
Myers’ impressive resume extends beyond her role as a Special Representative. She has actively participated in the negotiation of two critical contracts with Spirit Airlines and United Airlines, showcasing her dedication to the betterment of workers in the airline industry.
