David White was appointed Director of the Strategic Resources Department by International President Robert Martinez, Jr. on September 1, 2020 after serving as the Department’s Assistant Director. David joined the IAM in March 2001.
David has spent his years with the IAM providing economic and financial analysis in support of negotiations, providing research in support of organizing with a special emphasis on organizing within the context of the Service Contract Act, and teaching classes at the IAM’s Winpisinger Center. He has also been active in the IAM’s corporate governance and shareholder activism.
David holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and has been active in the labor movement for over 24 years.
