Sister Depue began her journey with the IAM in 2016 when she became a member of Local Lodge 25 in Barstow, California, working in a newly organized shop at Raytheon under the Service Contract Act (SCA). From the outset, she demonstrated a strong commitment to representing and advocating for her fellow members.
She took on key roles within the Local, serving as both a Local Lodge Auditor and a Shop Steward. In these positions, she earned a reputation for her attention to detail, integrity, and dedication to ensuring members’ voices were heard and protected.
In January 2019, Depue was appointed Apprentice Organizer with District Lodge 725, where she developed her skills in organizing and member engagement. In August 2019, she was appointed as a Business Representative for District 725.
Depue was then appointed Area Director for District 725 in January 2022. In this capacity, she oversaw representation, organizing efforts, and strategic initiatives, bringing both experience and passion to her work on behalf of the membership.
