Paul Kendall

Brother Kendall became a member of IAM Local 475 located in Grand Rapids, MI in 1992 working for Cummins Diesel.  He took the office of Secretary-Treasurer for the lodge in 1994. Along with being a local lodge Secretary-Treasurer brother Kendall also held the positions of Committeeman, Shop Steward, Machinists Council Delegate and District 97 Secretary-Treasurer.  Brother Kendall being active in the community at the age of 19 was elected as one of the youngest board members in the State of Michigan and held the positions of Recording-Secretary and Treasurer with the Board of Education for his local school district from 1989 to 2000. In April 2000 Brother Kendall was appointed to the position of Grand Lodge Auditor by General Secretary-Treasurer Don Wharton. Along with servicing over 120 lodges for over 16 years in eight different states, he has assisted with Financial Officers training and performed Fee Reduction Audits throughout the US. In October of 2016, he was appointed to Chief of Staff to the General Secretary-Treasurer by GST Dora Cervantes. In his position as COS he was charged with assigning and assisting all activities associated with the Grand Lodge Auditors and any other duties assigned by the General Secretary-Treasurer. The brother has attended many classes at the W3 Center, holds an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts and a Bachelors in Business Administration Degree with a major in Forensic Accounting.
