The IAM Safety and Health Department is accepting registrations for the HAZMAT Training Program to be held at the IAM’s Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, Md., from Nov. 15-20, 2026. The deadline to register is Friday, Sept. 21, 2026.
Offered by the Safety and Health Department, this course provides education and training on PPE, Access to Records, the Emergency Response Guidebook, DOT placards/labels, using and comparing resources, proper selection of chemical protective clothing and respirators, confined space awareness, hands-on simulated spill response, and other relevant topics.
