Over 30,000 good-paying jobs across the United States are in jeopardy if funding for the production of the C-17 Globemaster III is discontinued.
Senator John McCain (R-AZ) plans to offer an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2010 Defense Appropriations bill that would strip C-17 funding. The bill is being voted on this week by the Senate. A total of 43 states are affected by this vote.
