Hoffman Named Midwest Territory AA

Midwest Territory GVP Philip J. Gruber this week named Grand Lodge Representative Rod Hoffman to become his Administrative Assistant (AA) when current AA Roger Nauyalis retires on January 1, 2010.
Hoffman served as a GLR in the IAM Organizing Department before being transferred to the Midwest Territory in 1995. In 1993, he was appointed to serve as a Grand Lodge Representative in the Organizing Department. In 1989, he was appointed as an IAM Special Representative in the IAM Organizing Department.
In 1988, Hoffman was elected Business Representative of District 70 in Wichita, KS. Prior to that, Hoffman served his local as an officer and shop steward. He also was an Executive Board Member for the Wichita Federation of Labor.
Hoffman began work at Boeing Aircraft Company as a production worker and progressed to become a Journeyman. He joined IAM Aero Lodge 834, Wichita, KS, in 1978.
