Guide Dogs of America Banquet Big Success

More than 1,000 people gathered to support Guide Dogs of America (GDA) at the 31st Annual William W. Winpisinger Charity Banquet held in Las Vegas, NV. The crowd cheered locals, districts and companies as they stepped up to make donations.

The banquet also serves as an opportunity to honor individuals whose assistance was especially important to the work of Guide Dogs of America. Recognized with GDA’s prestigious 2011 “Gift of Sight Award” were IAM Southern Territory General Vice President Robert Martinez, Jr., McMorgan & Company President Brian Morton and IAM Local Lodge 2003 GDA volunteer Adam Beasley.

GDA is an IAM charity that provides professionally-trained guide dogs, free of charge, to blind and visually-impaired individuals across North America.
