Victoria Camera of Plainfield IL is awarded $1000 Scholarship from Union Plus. Her father is Anthony Camera of TCU Local 871.
Victoria points to her father’s union benefits for making a big impact in her life, “I watched individuals suffer as a result of their employment…we have been able to live a comfortable and positive lifestyle.”
Victoria has always been encouraged to attend college and wishes to study music and education and become a music teacher.
Union Plus Scholarship awards are granted to students attending a two or four-year college, graduate school or a recognized technical or trade school.
Applications for the 2013 Scholarships are available and must be received on or before 12:00 p.m.(Eastern Time) on Thursday, January 31, 2013.
