The “Let Freedom Ring Commemoration and Call to Action” ceremony took place on the actual 50th anniversary of the March on Washington. Tens of thousands braved the rain at Lincoln Memorial, half a century after Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his “I Have a Dream” speech. The closing ceremony gave people a chance to reflect on what they can do to help create jobs and close the inequality gap. This event capped a week full of events.
