District 142’s Flight Safety Conference included live aircraft and instruction by a former NTSB board member and a former NTSB accident investigator. Machinists Union and Transport Workers Union (TWU) members attended the conference at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, MD. Aircraft Maintenance Technicians and Flight Attendants also learned about the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT), which helps members and gets them home after accidents.
