General Vice President Sito Pantoja issued the following statement regarding the Orlando shootings:
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to all affected by this horrific act of terrorism and hate. It is far too often that I issue a statement about innocent people being struck down by senseless acts of cowardice and brutality. Hate and terror, however, cannot, and will not, win the day. We must continue to reject ideologies of hate and promote and defend the human right of every person to be free from harm and violence. We live in a country founded on the promise of freedom. An assault on anyone’s freedom is an attack on us all.”
