The latest edition of the IAM’s live webcast Activate L!VE covered a wide range of topics of interest to members and non-members alike.
Among the guests were IAM Legislative Assistant Director Monica Silbas, who talked about the importance of getting out the vote, and Maine Local S6 member Jason Perry, who was involved in a creative fundraising effort to help a young child.
TransCen President Laura Owens also joined the program to talk about the non-profit organization’s efforts to increase employment opportunities for those with disabilities.
Activate L!VE also introduced viewers to Tim Schlittner and Julie Greene, co-hosts of the AFL-CIO’s new podcast State of the Unions.
