BWI OnLine – January 7, 2010

The World Board is responsible for the administration of the organisation and for the implementation of BWI policies. The members are appointed by the World Council which meets at least twice a year. 

The World Council is the supreme governing body that meets between Congresses and is responsible for all policies and operations. Members are made up of representatives of stipulated groups of countries, the General Secretary and the international women’s committee.

Committee of Auditors
It is elected by Congress and consists of three members. The Committee controls if expenditures are kept in line with decisions of the World Council and World Board.
