Women, and men, of all ages went out to advocate for rights at the Women’s March on Washington that convened on Saturday, January 21, 2017. People all over the nation rallied on behalf of the cause. Supporters stressed the message that “Women’s rights are Human Rights” and that bettering the lives of American women would have a chain reaction around the world. Labor groups similarly campaigned and were a loud voice not to be reckoned with at the march. It was a successful day for women, laborers and humankind as a whole.
