The IAM will conduct a Federal Employees’ Collective Bargaining class from June 22 to 27, 2014 at the William W. Winpisinger (WWW) Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, MD.
The program will focus on areas such as negotiating ground rules, contract bargaining, mid-term bargaining, collective bargaining and the Federal Labor Relations Act (FLRA), negotiability appeals, impasse procedures with the Federal Service Impasses Panel (FSIP), and preparing the local lodge for negotiations. A one-day simulation where participants take part in the collective bargaining process will also be included.
