The 2025 IAM International President’s Classic golf tournament brought together IAM members, labor allies, and supporters from across North America for a day of camaraderie, solidarity, and purpose—all to benefit an important cause. Held at Fox Ridge Golf Club in Auburn, Maine, the charity tournament raised more than $150,000 for the Maine Museum of Innovation, Learning and Labor (Maine MILL), a museum dedicated to preserving the stories of workers, immigrants, and communities who powered Maine’s mills and shaped America’s labor legacy.
“This event is about honoring the history of working people and giving back to the communities that raised us,” said IAM International President Brian Bryant. “Supporting Maine MILL means preserving the stories of the working class. As someone who grew up in Maine, this cause is close to my heart, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we accomplished together.”
Dozens of teams hit the greens in support of the museum, and the event featured raffles, giveaways, and remarks from IAM Union and Maine MILL leadership. IAM members and partners from across the labor movement showed up big for the Maine MILL, a vibrant space for education, exhibitions, and storytelling based in Lewiston, Maine.

“This incredible show of support from International President Bryant and the IAM Union will help us continue preserving and celebrating the legacy of Maine’s workers,” said Rachel Ferrante, Executive Director of the Maine MILL. “We’re so grateful to everyone who participated and donated. Your generosity is making history.”
Proceeds from the 2025 IAM International President’s Classic are being used to support the rehabilitation of Maine MILL’s former Camden Yarns Mill and add an addition to become Maine MILL’s permanent home. The projected museum, which has already begun construction and is slated to open in summer 2026, will feature large spaces for a permanent collection and temporary galleries, a classroom, children’s area, and a design lab. Maine MILL’s ambition is to become a cultural hub that drives curiosity, encourages lifelong learning, and creates a stronger, more unified community.
