The IAM Union and allies around labor joined the Alliance for Retired Americans, led by retired IAM General Secretary-Treasurer Robert Roach, Jr., for its annual pension symposium. The gathering called attention to the political assault on Social Security and retirement plans that assist older Americans, many of whom are IAM Union members.
