IAM Union General Secretary-Treasurer Dora Cervantes and IAM Union Air Transport Territory General Vice President Richie Johnsen recently visited multiple classes at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center (W3), reinforcing the IAM’s commitment to education, organizing, and developing the next generation of labor leaders.
The visit included participation in Organizing I classes taught in both Spanish and English, as well as the Young Workers Leadership Program. Students from across North America gathered at W3 to strengthen their skills and deepen their commitment to growing the IAM.

Her visit amplified the IAM’s ongoing commitment to inclusion, education, and empowering members at every level of the union.

Young Workers participants said the visit reinforced their role within the labor movement and affirmed that they have a seat at the table.
