For the fifth straight year, the IAM Local 1746 Women’s Committee and the IAM Union Eastern Territory have partnered with East Hartford Public School in Connecticut to help with a backpack rally event by collecting donations, packing backpacks, and participating as a vendor on the distribution day. IAM Union Local 1746 and IAM Union Eastern Territory volunteers handed out thousands of IAM union pencils, pens, rulers, activity books, stickers, and other items at the event.
