    In January of 1994, the U.S. government agreed to a destructive trade deal that decimated the American middleclass manufacturing sector. The North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA, economically fused Mexico, Canada and the United States. Since NAFTA’s implementation, almost 700,000 jobs have moved south of the border, leaving many American communities without hope.
