As the clock winds down for federal SNAP funding, and as the government shutdown surpasses 30 days, union members created a food pantry in Washington, D.C. They are offering canned goods to the public and raising money for local food banks that are serving laid-off federal workers, some of whom and IAM Union and NFFE-IAM members.
