District 77 members in Minnesota once again stepped up for families in need this holiday season by supporting Unity One Credit Union’s annual Toys for Tots drive. Locals 737 and 459 each approved funding motions that covered a significant share of this year’s contributions, ensuring the effort made a real impact for children across the community.
Members turned their motions into action by hitting the stores, filling carts, and delivering a truck packed with toys. In total, more than $1,600 in donated toys will go to local families this season.
“District 77 and its locals came together to make a difference for families during the holidays,” said IAM Midwest Territory General Vice President Sam Cicinelli. “Their effort speaks volumes about who we are as a union. I’m proud of the work our members continue to do in their communities.”
“Supporting Toys for Tots reflects the spirit of solidarity our members show all year,” Said IAM Local 737 President Eric Jorgensen. “Locals 737 and 459 didn’t just contribute funds, they put in the time, energy, and heart to make sure kids in our community feel the joy of the season. I’m proud of the generosity our members continue to demonstrate.”
