A discounted registration fee of $100 is available to participants who register and pay by September 9, 2015. The registration fee will increase to $150 after September 9.
The conference will highlight the varying experiences, traditions and capabilities that solidify IAM members’ solidarity. Speakers, workshops and panel discussions will relate to global human rights issues. Participants will gain a better understanding of how women’s, young workers and human rights issues affect everyone.
“The IAM is proud of our diversity – it’s part of what makes us such a strong union,” said IAM General Vice President Diane Babineaux, who will chair the conference. “The Women’s, Young Workers and Human Rights Conference will celebrate our progress and empower our younger members and women who hold the key to propelling the IAM’s future. We’ll also have candid discussions on human rights issues and how they affect all of us.”
