Earlier today, one of our members was struck by a car while walking back to the picket line from a nearby restaurant. Thankfully, the member is doing well and was taken to the hospital for observation as a precaution. We’re relieved to report that there are no serious injuries, and we expect a full recovery.
This incident serves as a crucial reminder that safety must always be the top priority. While we continue to stand strong and united on the line, please remain cautious and aware of your surroundings at all times. Be mindful of traffic, stay clear of roadways, use designated crosswalks, and look out for one another.
