With the recent announcement of an agreement on the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP), the fight to protect American jobs and communities will shift to the United States Congress.
Take Action: Tell Congress to Save Jobs, Vote NO on the TPP
Lawmakers will review the agreement and then vote to accept or reject the deal without any ability to amend it.
The greatest chance of stopping this disastrous trade deal is to put enough pressure on Congress that they vote to reject it.
IAM members, their families and friends can help stop TPP by sending the Action Alert to tell Congress to Save Jobs, Vote NO on the TPP.
For more information about the TPP, watch the video interview with IAM Chief of Staff and Trade and Globalization Department Director Owen Herrnstadt and visit www.goiam.org.
