$8 Billion for High Speed Rail on the Way

In a statement Vice President Joe Biden states that the funding for High Speed Passenger rail is on the way. The 10 corridors identified by the administration for funding are now ready to begin receiving those funds. Funding from the stimulus plan is intended to “jump start” the country’s poor high speed rail network.
Biden said the expected payments should arrive by the end of the summer.
