Your Vote Counts – GOP Candidates Pledge to Kill High Speed Rail

Republicans running for governor in a handful of states could block, or significantly delay the plan to expand the passenger rail system and to develop the nation’s first high speed train service.
The GOP candidates for governor in some of the states that won the biggest stimulus rail awards are the ones saying they will try to stop high speed rail.
“This is another moment that shows that our vote really counts,” said TCU President Bob Scardelletti. “TCU members should remember, when they go to the polls, which candidates support our issues”
