New High Speed Rail Releases from the FRA

In two recent releases from the Federal Railroad Administration U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood announced High speed rail funds of $400,000 to go to Colorado and $500,000 to re-route the Amtrak Ethan Allen Service in Vermont.
Also released, a $25 million pool is available for high speed rail technology research, development and demonstration projects to advance the state of the art in track and structures, train control systems, operating practices and rolling stock.
