Optum is Extending Video Chat and Telephonic Service for Members Covered Under the Railroad Employees National Health and Welfare Plan

Until May 31, 2020 (unless extended by Optum), members can access mental health and substance use care from your provider through digital or telephonic means. In other words, instead of physical office visits, mental health and substance abuse care provider services may be received via online video or chat (including video capabilities on your phone) or via a telephone call. Fixed-dollar copayments are not waived for these digital or telephone visits, so the applicable payment is required just as if it were a physical office visit. If you have questions, feel free to contact a dedicated Behavioral Care Advocate at 1-866-850-6212.

For those needing assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic, members can find further information about this program and other resources available from the Plan’s medical vendors by visiting Your Track to Health website at YTTH.com.

Should you have any questions, please contact the TCU Social Services Department at 301-840-8746.
