Steven Parson a member of TCU Local 6385 was in the middle of a 13-month layoff and was struggling to keep his home. Before his layoff he had re-financed with a Union Plus mortgage. Union Plus Mortgage assistance covered three months of mortgage payments with an interest free loan and Brother Parson was able to keep up and eventually get back on the job.
“Union Plus got me through,” said Parson “It was tough, I wanted to protect my credit. I didn’t want to lose my truck or my home. I was really stressed. They paid for three months of my mortgage and that’s what got me through.”
