The Union Plus Mortgage Program, with financing through Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, offers special benefits to union members and their families planning to purchase or refinance a home. This program provides a broad range of financing options to help meet the needs of many borrowers. TCU/IAM members should know about the various reasons to take advantage of this program.
When buying a home, or refinancing through the Union Plus Mortgage Program, qualified members may be eligible to receive a $500 My Mortgage Gift award from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Qualified members are also entitled to Union Plus mortgage assistance during times of unemployment, disability, a lockout or strike; plus the opportunity to earn a $500 First-Time Home Award. Please note that the First-Time Home Award is offered only to active and retired union members in good-standing.
In addition, members who are veterans of the United States Armed Forces, who obtained a Union Plus Mortgage through Wells Fargo to finance their primary residence after October 31, 2014, are eligible to apply for a special $1,000 grant. Funding is limited so eligible members shouldn’t delay in applying for a grant.
