The Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit upheld the new union election rules issued last year by the National Mediation Board (NMB). The Transportation Trades Department AFL-CIO (TTD), of which TCU is a member, filed an amicus brief in support of the NMB position in this case. This decision affirmed a District Court ruling that also upheld the NMB’s new rules.
One of the new rule changes is that no longer will an uncast vote in union representation elections be counted as a no.
