Our leading voice on Capitol Hill, IAM National Political and Legislative Director Hasan Solomon, has been recognized as one of Washington D.C.’s 500 most influential people of 2024!
The Washingtonian magazine produced a list of the experts and advocates outside of government who are playing big roles in Washington’s policy debates. The Washingtonian calls Solomon “a passionate advocate for workers’ rights.”
“Solomon wears two different hats for the trade union, directing both the political and legislative strategies on labor rights and empowerment,” writes the Washingtonian.
Solomon leads the IAM’s Political and Legislative Department, which works hard to advance the interests of working families, promote the cause of our members and defend our members’ rights.
MNPL is the IAM’s political arm. It allows IAM members to gather individual contributions, coordinate political activity, and elect candidates who support IAM members and their families.
