A Shaky Economy

January 10, 2008 – While data released last week paints a grim picture of job growth and unemployment, other economic indicators are worrisome as well.

The Center for American Progress’ Economic Snapshot for January 2008 shows:

Wage growth remains low.
Benefits are disappearing.
Debt is growing.
Poverty remains high.
The housing market is shaky.
The trade deficit remains high.
