China Coal Mine Accidents Kill 63

July 17, 2006 – Worker safety continues to be compromised in China as 63 people were killed and 26 more trapped in three separate coal mining accidents on July 15.
Chinese coal miners are put in danger everyday. 5,986 people died in accidents in
China’s coal mines last year, according to China’s National Development and Reform Commission.
