Chinese Workers Pay the Price For China’s Unfair Trade Practices

April 3, 2006 – The International Confederation of Free Trade Unions has released two reports highlighting the hefty price China’s own people pay as a result of the government’s unfair trade practices.

The reports show China’s competitiveness is based on “the exploitative wages paid to its workers who are deprived of the right to organize freely, to form independent trade unions and to engage in collective bargaining.”
