February 24, 2006 – Making quality jobs a top priority, Senator Edward Kennedy (D-MA) has introduced the Right TRACK Act.
The Act is Kennedy’s plan to move the U.S. forward and restore our advantage in the workforce, education, health care and research and development.
Kennedy’s proposed legislation seeks to create high quality jobs, educate Americans to fill the jobs of the future and preserve good jobs in the U.S.
The bill also seeks to modernize U.S. Labor and Employment laws and help those harmed by globalization. Putting a stop to foreign currency manipulation and the exploitation of cheap labor are two of the main issues addressed.
“The essence of the American Dream is the ability to provide a better life for yourself and your family. At its very heart are a good job, first-class education, good health care and a secure retirement,” Kennedy said in a statement.
