Schumer and Graham to Visit China

March 15, 2006 – Senators Charles Schumer(D-NY) and Linsey Graham(R-SC) have announced they will visit China next week in order to determine whether or not to bring their bi-partisan legislation to a vote by March 31.
Schumer and Graham’s bill would apply a 27.5 percent tariff on Chinese imports unless the Chinese government allows their currency to rise further.
