District Lodge 26 recently brought 7 new members into the Machinists Union by organizing the Automotive Technicians at County Line BMW, Inc., located in Watertown, Connecticut.
I am proud to announce that we have successfully negotiated a first agreement that includes a $2.00 to $4.00 hour increase in their flat rate, IAM Pension, quarterly bonus, improved holidays and sick time. This brings the total number of first agreements in the Eastern Territory to 9 for the year.
On behalf of the Eastern Territory and its members, I extend our congratulations and appreciation to District Lodge 26 Directing Business Representative Everett Corey and Business Representative Jeff Perinetti. A special thanks to our determined members at County Line BMW.
IT PAYS TO BELONG TO THE IAM
