te las vegas

This week in Las Vegas, I.A.M. C.R.E.S.T Associate DOT Instructors participated in a Trainers Exchange designed to enhance exiting training programs. The program afforded trainers the opportunity to share new ideas about the current training occurring at various airline industry sites.

Dr. James Leslie, former Director of the IAM William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center, facilitated a Safety and Health workshop with participants as part of the week’s activities focusing on moving the program forward.

Currently, IAM CREST Associate Instructors provide site-specific training for workers in the airline industry who ship, receive, and handle dangerous goods by air. The training is funded by a grant from the DOT Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration.
