IAM CREST/DOT Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration Trainers Exchange held Sept. 26-30, 2011 in Union, Washington

During the week of Sept. 26-30, 2011, I.A.M. C.R.E.S.T Associate DOT Instructors participated in a Trainers Exchange held in Union Washington. The program afforded trainers the opportunity to share new and existing ideas about the training occurring at various airline industry sites.

Dr. James Leslie, former director of the IAM William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center, facilitated a Safety and Health workshop with participants as part of the week’s activities.

Currently, IAM CREST Associate Instructors provide site-specific training for workers in the airline industry who handle dangerous goods by air. The training is provided by a grant funded by the DOT Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration.
